We all know we should feel and express gratitude regularly, but it often gets brushed aside for more impulsive states of mind like irritation, impatience, and daily stress. The hustling of everyday life can easily overshadow the intention to count our blessings one after the other. For many of us, the most profound reminder to reflect on life’s positive moments arrives just once a year on Thanksgiving Day, and even this occasion can be more about ingesting a variety of food than actually giving thanks. On this Thanksgiving weekend, I am thankful for:
Good Friends, good leaders that I have worked it, actually connected with past employers/leaders this week
Freedom of religion, speech and expression
Partner, kids, siblings- not perfect but thankful
Good health, functional healthcare and
The opportunity to be able to work and support my family in so many ways.
