The New Decade

It’s Friday and #cochella2018 weekend! I’m spending mine in Edmonton! What are your plans?

This last decade was great to me. It’s also had its not so great days. I’ve learned that I am capable of feeling the lows, but that I am strong enough to move through them to experience the beautiful things. I’ve learned that I am the only one who is in total control of feeling how I want to feel. It’s my responsibility to internalize things and ultimately step out from it bigger and better than ever. By faith, I’ll keep trusting in God’s unfailing love to uphold me.

The decade did defined me, mold me into the woman I am today. Looking back on it, It ultimately makes me smile. One thing I learn towards the end of the decade was showing a heart of gratitude.

Looking back on the last decade and year 2019, I am excited for 2020. Reflecting on the last decade has given me the chance to look back and see how far I’ve come. It’s given me a real opportunity to learn and unlearn some really hard things. I am beyond grateful to God.

Here are a few of the things I’ve learned and hope to take with me into the new decade:

Trust in God

To trust in God is to hand all my cares to Him. God is the Master Builder who guides everything in heaven and on earth. God has a perfect plan for each individual. God sends us trials and He tests us, so that we can overcome sin and the virtues of Jesus can grow in us. He knows the end result. Cast all our cares on Him and focus our energy on doing His will instead of worrying about everything past, present, and future.

If we as humans, will have faith in God and the power of His Word, He will take care of our needs. 2 Chronicles 16:9 says, “For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.”

A heart of gratitude
Gratitude makes one feel good, when one experience it. it helps to notice what is already good in one’s lives instead of what is bad, which helps us develop positive feelings about ourselves and our life.

A can do attitude
Believe in yourself and be prepared for that expectation.

Stay with those who value you.

Seriously, you don’t have to communicate with everyone. As long as you have made peace in your heart and make the effort to reach out to everyone. You are good to go. You do not have to force any relationship!

Authenticity
To be true to myself at the very deepest possible level both in my spirit and in my actions. I hope to show my true nature, who I really am, is calm and relaxed but yet very alive at the same time. I am going to be honest with myself and and others. I will share my belief, faith and honour true self, that is my inner spirit.
As usual, all brand and product review will continue to be genuine.
Authenticity brings more confidence & clarity!

Thanks for reading.

When I originally left a comment I seem to have clicked on the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now whenever a comment is added I recieve 4 emails with the exact same comment. There has to be a way you are able to remove me from that service? Thanks! Rozamond Lalo Airlee
